Universal’s Karloff Frankenstein may be the most famous version of the story put on film, but Thomas Edison unleashed his vision many years before.
May 18, 1910 saw the debut of Thomas Edison’s silent Frankenstein film.
Wasn’t too bad for it’s day. It is still much better than some of the more modern renditions.
